  1. I got your back JR. I fight dirty... I always carry a pocketful of glitter. It's hard to fight when you've been glitter-bombed in the face. Booyah sneak attack.
  2. Yeah still going. Q-tip and I will be representing the Southenders. I know Angelina should be going, any of you other Northenders enter?
  3. Yeah, its a bit narrower. You would think it would be easier up here, but no dice. Ive only seen one with a bench for sale and only know of one other besides that here in the States. I made due with what I had available.
  4. The world will never know! :frantics: JK, its from something else.
  5. Work continues, but came inside to clean the plastics for both the steering column as well as the heater. They are pretty grimy. Here is the work so far: Test fit new front seat- Space either side of seat when centered correctly- Carpet installed- Cleaned the front seat. Shout out to Laecaon and RedBanner for the suggestions on cleaner and Magic Erasers. Worked out perfect- (after/before) New cleaned front seat installed with carpet. I also cut off the curled vinyl torn areas on the seat, ran the seat belts up, and put the beads back on. I need to get some string or something to mount the seat covers more permanently as any time you move they slide down the seat-
  6. That was the first one I saw... it was right where I put my hand to remove the back seat. I sucked up maybe 7 spiders from the back with the vacuum. They were everywhere...

620 and 521 benches are too big... They would both have to be cut and put back together.
  8. Back to work... I forgot I already uploaded these pics: Removed the backseat to vacuum- Heres JRocks in-progress handy work...
  9. Carpet is in... phone died trying to snap an oic so its time for lunch I guess.
  10. So your buyer backed out of backing out? Sad to see you go...
  11. Overall it's pretty nice. I think I'm still going to create a whole brand new harness though using the spare I have as a guide. There's a bunch of wires that go to nothing and some bare areas that I'd like to get rid of.
  12. Sorry it took me so long to see your question. I'm hoping to find larger ones as Im still short a few to have a full set for my second cluster. If also like to have a couple extras just in case.
  13. Just pulled the 510 into the mini garage I have. People were looking at me weird since I was driving around with no dash and the wiring harness is in the passenger seat.
  14. No they dont... Luckily I had plenty of stock ones from the two clusters I have. Im going to have to return the ones I purchased and see if they have larger ones.
  15. Im sure with how sexy this car is, there might be some '70s bodily fluids gunking up some of the corners :P :o
  16. I'll try them out and see how it goes.
  17. Never thought to use those... I have quite a few of those under the kitchen sink. Ill try them out.
  18. Hmmmm interested in those Z32 brakes. I keep coming back to wanting a set. Trades?

Yes thats it. They make a shallow and a deep one. Something like $45 and $60 respectively.

Most quality lips are going to be about that price unless you buy used. The only real "cheap" option is the VW lip at about $60.

  22. Yeah I plan to use good ol' soap and water for the parts at first. That should get all the dirts and grime off. Then I thought about using a vinyl specific cleaner and finally that Protectant you posted.
  23. Out of those two options I would pick 15x7J +0 Compe 8s.
  24. It should have said "complete half-shaft" not "new u-joint" since its the flange thats fucked and not the u-joint. Fixed above post. Im really hoping it makes fixes all... Its the way the car came. Its a '69 3pt. non-retractable seatbelt. Mothers it is! Thanks again. Ill pick up both bottles... will be nice to use on the dash as well for the front fascia pieces.
  25. I was going to start there. I know they normally make some good stuff. Thanks for the recommendation. Ill snag some while Im out tomorrow. Yes. It was my u-joints. Fixed one, but the other has a bad flange so the new u-joint didnt fix the problem. Ive got another complete half-shaft I will be swapping in which hopefully will fix all vibrations.
