Description

WTB.......front sway bar for 1978-1979 620, I pulled one from a 1977 and it was wrong, I didn't know it was changed when Datsun upgraded the 620 to disc brakes.

I have a 79 KC and have never seen a bar on a ball joint front end.
I tried a late 720 and the width is correct but it does not go forward enough. It's only about 8-1/2"
What is the reason why the Kingpin won't work on the Ball joint?
I heard it hits something but then someone else says the older ones will fit.
I do know a 720 has the same 37-1/2" center to center of eyelet

There is only one part number for it and it's an option.

I had a '78 and yes, no bar but it IS an option, so I took one off an older truck. Fit just fine. The frame was drilled and threaded and the LCAs had holes for the link.

Yeah I have the online parts manual with the numbers in it.
That is how I found all the wonderful NOS OEM from UAE & Japan.

I have searched the Ball Joint bar  # with no luck
I have had people tell me the older KP bars will work and I have had  people tell me they won't.
Someone told me a 720 would fit, nope, lucky I only have 30 bucks in it.

I pressed out the studs, sandblasted the hubs after degreasing, plated the studs & nuts w/ zinc
I'm ready to get some wheels back on. These are the only non Japanese parts I bought for the front.
USA is OK for me

NOS bump stops & ALL new steering, bushings, all Japanese rubber

All 555 Japan Steering / Ball Joints

This will be a non bastardized 620. I try to use all Japanese made parts
