Come to think of it now i saw [yours now] his 521 at the swap meet a few times..he was selling tools & it had a lumber rack if i remember right. Id love to have it but..too many toys as it is. MikeRL411 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 Aftermarket side view mirrors. Originals were round, easy fix, go to Kragen. Lookalikes abound. Tailgate cancer, corroded lift handle, can't replate pot metal. Problems. Missing passenger side fender "DATSUN" emblem. Gold color may be hard to find. Reupholstered seats are too plain, missing paneling and fore to aft stitching. Can be a do it yourself project, 411 seat covers are easily sewn up. Did mine myself in an adult school evening furniture reupholstering shop. Instructor was fascinated and really helped out with advice. Glove box lid is easily recovered. Bumpers and bumper guards look to be in good shape. A pretty good starter vehicle. Link to comment

dat521kid Posted January 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 yeah mark thats him alright he is also selling a non datsun 1963 plymouth valiant, he had a 4 door 510 with a hit and had been sitting for a while said he sold it for 700 and he said he might have some other datsun parts i'll take pics and post them on here if he finds them Link to comment
