Bandit240
I found my stash of old Nissan toolbags and made one into the cover for my HEI module thats mounted under the hood. Closed Open I can also note that the HEI module doesnt seem to care about water since mine got soaked with simple green and hosed off. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
I would think a Datsun matchbox distributor (high-voltage) would be better than an HEI module (a bit higher voltage). Because matchbox has no points. What is the advantage of running General Motors HEI module? Quote Link to comment
Bandit240
My dist doesnt have points. It was the style with the little box under the dash and that little box quit. I don't know how long it will last since it hasn't been installed for much driving. Ive got a matchbox dist that i will end up putting on there. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
I would think a Datsun matchbox distributor (high-voltage) would be better than an HEI module (a bit higher voltage). Because matchbox has no points. What is the advantage of running General Motors HEI module? I did the HEI EI swap in my old 521 & my 620. The dist i used had the remote ignitor box & was missing from the car [junkyard]. The HEI basically does what the ignitor box does. Cost bout $15 for the part & i noticed the difference right away. Bandit, good use of the tool bag :D Quote Link to comment
