I'm wondering what bolts I would need to connect the bell housing to the engine. Could I use the transmission bolts from a ca18? or sr20? or do I just need to find each bolt's pitch and length? datzenmike Posted July 29 Report Share Posted July 29 I imagine the CA/SR bolts are the same thread. Length would be the important thing. The top two holes are blind so you don't want bolts that are too long or they'll tighten but not be up against the transmission. Too short and there's not enough thread engagement. You should have 1.5 X the bolt width of threads engaged into the block. Quote Link to comment
