slow and low 521 nw!

well i just got a datsun truck th 521

 

i want it lower and NO BAGs ony ideas on how to body drop these trucks??the frame it bolts onto is like 2 inches from the ground its almost draging the shacles on the leafs in the back and my sub fram is less than 1 inch.

 

but it still looks like its ready for reder pit 4 weeling!! grrr

if the suspention is already bottomed out for the most part and you dont wanna do any major fab work like the work for bags i think your only remaining option would be to runn smaller wheels and tires

body drop it.

 

this is my friends. look at how low it is! he had to cut the rocker panels off.

it is bagged also but the body drop makes it even more so.

well in deed i do want smaller wheels but the bottom is soo close i dont think i can even make it into my garage haha but the body sits to high so.

 

body drop would i have to rais the floor pan and etc. any info?? or links to how to go about doing this i plan to 4 ling the back but not cut out the bed cause i think it looks ugly

his bed is mostly there. he is on here his name is coods. e-mail him with question and i will tell him to answer them. I know he left his floor pan where it goes. and put really low seats in so it fits about normal. his bed isn't modified except where he cut it out for the bags. he has c-notch's for his axle but i don't know for sure if his body drop needed those.

that is awsome i looked at the pics it looks pritty slamed. so how close is your sub frame now? any pics from the side with it on the ground?

This is about the only pics I have of it stuffed. I had to reindex the torsion bars back up when I did the control arms. If I road on the bumpstops(cut to 1/2 now) with the new arm, a flat tire would have me grinding the crossmember hard. I think the rim will go about an inch above the scrub line.
