center caps on titians

Put a set for titains on my 75 620 and the front center caps wont go on any ideas?

maybe the cap goes in from the back of the wheel, im not familiar with the wheels in question but i have seen pleanty of wheels that the center cap goes in from the back..

I never had a problem with the caps with or without spacers. Spray some colored paint on the dust cap and put the wheel back on with the center cap installed. It will leave marks in the wet paint where it is hitting.

 

Have you tried it without the dust cap?

use spacers. You might get away with breaking the 2 mounting tabs then glueing the nissan logo onto the cap. I think you have a 620 right? I'm running a spacer on my 521 and they work fine. You might need longer studs if you run spacers.

I had that problem on my 74 620, machined Titans no spacers and drum brakes. I had to mash the wheel bearing caps in, cut the tabs off the Nissan logo on the back of the center cap, machine .030 off the back of the center cap! and glue the Nissan logo on. Works fine now. What a bitch!

you need to mount the wheels and check your clearances down there. I had to run them cause my tires were really close to my frame.
