Pretty sure, Z24i was only on 1985/1986 trucks.  I've only seen the Z24i on a 4x4 a while back.  I had a mid year 1986 base model, and it still had the Hitachi dcr384 carburetor.  Kind of confirms what powderfinger says what he things was in the manual

Guessing, probably not too many Z24i's out there.

Wouldn't mind finding a non 4x4 ST with the Z24i

Yup Steve what was I thinking? Probably the ECC carburetor. Yes the Z24i was available April '85 and on, probably as an option in federal states but standard on all California trucks because of the lower emissions.

86 4x4 ST is the only trucks I have seen the Z24i in.

It's likely a pricey option and the ST is the truck with just about every option on it.  Might even be standard equipment on the ST.
