Pink Del Sol
Anybody tried mounting 720 fenders on an 80s model 510. Can't find any 510 fenders near NC for less then 500 Quote Link to comment
yenpit
With money & fabrication skills, you can make anything work, but having been in the restoration/restomod industry for years, you will pay a shop $1000's of dollars to modify sheetmetal to fit another model. I do see A10 510's come up for parts here on Ratsun & on the Facebook pages every once in a while, but patience will be your friend! Quote Link to comment
yenpit
PS knowing how the Japanese engineers operated, I bet any A10 510 fenders will work between the 2dr 4dr & Wagon (I think they made a Wagon??). The only hurdle might be the early dual ROUND headlight vs the later quad RECTANGULAR headlights might have changed the shape of the front of the fender where it meets the radiator core support/grille............?? datzenmike
Front fenders for A10 wagon, sedan, hatchback and 4 door hatchback are all the same through the years. Grills and radiator support shape change with the headlight shape. It's obviously not going to fit and is only similar in that it is a front fender and has a wheel opening. Can it be made to fit? Anything is possible but easier to fix the old ones. If the wheel arches are rusted out look at a set of bolt on flairs. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pink Del Sol
Thanks for all the responses. The more I looked the 720 is much narrower behind the wheel wells. All I get on FB marketplace is scammers. I'll keep an eye out here. Quote Link to comment
