22350
Sooooooo done a ton of of work to my steering wheel an turn mechanism..... but found another broken thing. I was able to repair the turn signal switch, and send out the lever for plating. Looking at the wheel and the switch, it is obvious that there is something missing. Apparently some spring loaded contact, which is in pieces. (see pictures) This switch appears to be an earlier version, as it doesn't have a knob on the end of the lever. A good offered to sell me one, but the configuration appears to be slightly different. Any ideas?? Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
You could always grab one from another application and make it fit. I bet every Datsun from 1962 to 1982 has a similar contact. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
I made one from a ball point pen spring and a solid copper "cup" from a water line adapter for a refrigerator ice maker, You have to have an imagination to keep old time cara running! 1 Quote Link to comment
