bottomwatcher
Well I did a seat swap on my 720 with some nice Maxima seats. Now what to do with old ones? I threw them on the shop floor and used them for drinking beer and solving all the worlds problems in my head. They were a little boring so in Ratsun style (cheap) one 2x4 and 12 screws one seat got an upgrade. Here we go. Draw out roughly what you think a rocker should look like and cut with a jigsaw. Then screw them together and hit with a belt sander to take out the lumps. You don't want lumps it makes the ride bumpy! Once smooth unscrew them and use the rest of to 2x4 to finish. That's all there is to it. No further direction needed. 2 Quote Link to comment

bottomwatcher
Thank you sir! I would have made a post on rebuilding the Toyota axles I have and SAS swapping my 720 but covid took my project money. That being said this was an hour project and I enjoy it every morning drinking coffee and getting angry at the news just rocking back and forth. Funny thing is I have all kinds of low budget projects going on and stay busy. This sucks for everybody but if you look around there is no reason to sit still, projects everywhere! 1 Quote Link to comment
KELMO
You know, there are some 510 seats sitting around here. This is an awesome idea, thanks for sharing. Quote Link to comment
