datzenmike Posted October 2, 2019 Report Share Posted October 2, 2019 May have trapped air in it. Air compresses easily and causes a soft pedal. There is a bleeder on the slave to let the air out. Bleed the hydraulic system first. This will replace the old fluid with new and remove any trapped air. Quote Link to comment

I also put my finger in the master cylinder and plug the hole and have someone pump the pedal .It might create a suction . then rebleed the system again Quote Link to comment
