CamoKing
This '82, 720 w/Z22 has four threads milled around the oil filter mount. I find nothing other than the block surface on which the oil filter gasket rests. Are these threads there for a part I am missing? A Spacer flange? Specialized mating surface?? Just curious. What gives? If it is a part, can I get it somewhere? Thanks in advance for any comments. 1 Quote Link to comment

CamoKing
Remote oil filter __?? What is it? Is there any advantage to having one? 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
You can mount a 280zx turbo automatic oil cooler adapter. The 4 threaded holes allow you to clock the adapter to get it where you want it. 1 Quote Link to comment
CamoKing
So, really this is only for a turbo charged engine......(what would I do with all that HP!?!?) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
No.... but it is used on them. The KA also has a weird adapter that fits it for the oil pressure sender and to clock the filter for clearance. Quote Link to comment
