any chance of cutting the turbo style vent out with a few inches of the hood?

I want to graft it to my 240z hood for the L28et swap :D

and possably the dizzy and gear that goes between it and the oil pump if you have it

The later 280 dizzy should fit the early won't it. And don't cut the hood up. The 240 looks too nice as it is. The hood scoop was one of many things that made the newer 280 not as visually appealing. There was just too much 'junk' added to it. (IMHO)

the hood vent is a little beat up it looks chewed up like some chemicals got on it and then painted red . adam's vent is better i will talk to him and can cut his off with my saw .

Yeah the vent on mine is pretty nice and the rest of the hood is rusted out anyway. Skippy where is that car we can go get tranny and diff outa it, maybe today.

What engine block and head are in it?

I know it will have a F54 block with flat tops, but the head I'm not sure probly a P79 I'll check if I go pull the diff.

its not so much for looks as function, Im swapping in an L28et and would like some venting along with everything else Im doing to keep under hood temps down.

I don't know 25 bucks plus shipping. Just cause I have to cut it out. Is that too much? I hate making prices for stuff! I'm working on a L28et swap as well. Almost got the engine outa the ZX, man theres alot of bullshit under that hood. Oh did you just want the one vent?
