bonvo
i like these cars but the only reason i would want one is to make an initial d look alike right down to the tofu shop sticker on the right side Quote Link to comment
Adam134
yeah the chassis code is ae86 and the model is an sr5 generally when you hear the term ae86 it means that the engine is modified people put all kinds of motors in these cars vg30 sr20 4age 2jze turbo and non turbo LOL sorry bro but 2JZ? Come on now.. The longest motor I've seen done was 7mgte.. And I've heard of a couple with 2jz for drag only but they're fully braced and tubed, otherwise you'd be looking at a trailer queen... Common swaps are 16v highcomp redtop, 20v silvertop/blacktop, 4agze with turbo instead of super, SR20, FC20/FC22 out of S2000 and lately with big money 1uzfe... When you hear the term AE86 its simply the chassis code as you said, not because it's got a modified engine.. Quote Link to comment

Glides
Well.....since you brought it back from the dead, here was mine. 4agze swap with a Turbo, megasquirt tuned by Batlground in Atlanta. Real Vertex kit, perfect...and I mean PERFECT scratchless wheels, not one single imperfection on em. 5 Defi Guages, Bride and on and on. Was too perfect to drive anywhere so I got rid of it. Pulled right at 200 at the wheels. Engine looked like crapola, was the only part that needed some touch. It with the HOTTEST Nopi Model at the Nopi Nationals. All chicks paled in comparison to this stunner. Quote Link to comment
