Bleach
So.Is there going to be a seattle/puget sound area caravan or not? It doesn't look like it. No Seattle or south Sound caravan. Just the one up in Everett. Looks to be only one person in the Tacoma area going as of right now Quote Link to comment

playsnmud
I might go but I am one of those guys with the 4 speed so I might cruise down on my own so I don't slow the whole caravan down. Quote Link to comment
Bleach
I'll be the guy in the RV towing a 280ZX at 55mph :) Quote Link to comment
datsunfish
4 speeds can keep up all day long. You dont have to downshift to accelerate.Thats what I am running and with a L16 with open chamber head. Quote Link to comment

playsnmud
haven't figure it out yet but if i do 60-65 its ok but around 70-75 for a long period of time the damn car will stall and sit on the shoulder for 10 mins and fire right up and I can be on my way again. Quote Link to comment

Bleach
thinking the coil get hot and shuts down so going to get a new coil and bring some spares. I am going, so who's meeting where and leaving when? what kind of carb do you have? Could be vapor lock. If you're running the factory metal fuel line that is bolted to the head, remove that and run rubber hose that is not strapped to the valve cover. Give it some air so it can stay cooler Quote Link to comment
LeDevil
Lol, My truck has a 4 speed and I got her upto 90 today. Kinda scary though  Front end kinda swayed in between the grooves in the road. Quote Link to comment
datsunfish
I will be leaving port orchard at 7am.That is my plan so far, considering that my friend makes it on time. That would put me in tacoma around 7:35 and near olympia around 8:00 according to my calculations.(a guess). If that jives with anyone elses plans let me know.I figure any of us up here will be hitting I-5 south so maybe the tacoma mall or somewhere near olympia we could meet up.We could make any necessary stops for others along the way. Maybe this will be a good kick start. My name is Ben.My cell# is 360 471 6219.Call me if you wanna meet up.Call up till midnight. Quote Link to comment
kiznook
If you guys are in Olympia around 8, you could meet up with us in vancouver between 9:30 and 10 Quote Link to comment
Bleach
don't forget the speedometer is gauged for 195/80/14 tires. If you're running 205/50/15 then you're probably only going 70 when your speedo says 90 ;) Quote Link to comment
lynchfourtwenty
i forget how much does it cost to get in.. an is there a parking fee... and how much to enter my truck.. is it too late?????? Quote Link to comment
kiznook
its like $4 to get into the park. then $15 to be in the show (includes a lunch ticket) Quote Link to comment
Pumpkn210
I may just be retarded but I cant seem to find directions to this place. Tried mapquest and the parks web site and still nothing. Well I did kinda figure out where it is but some real solid directions would be super-sweet! I hope the our Coomvvvooooooiiiiieeee goes well. I will be in it in full force, with tools, at way too many RPM! Quote Link to comment
lynchfourtwenty
well i think i can come up with the $4.. i know it sounds lame.. but im broke an dont think my truck will be in the show :( Quote Link to comment
Bleach
South on 205 then take 84 East There is a huge sign for the exit to Bluelake. It says "Blue Lake Park Exit" follow the signs. Oregon does a good job with marking their roads. Seattle is horrible. Quote Link to comment
