I had more than that on my regular bed of my 82 720 many times. It will take it. Had so much on the back of my 720 that when i went around a corner at 15mph i thought i was going to do like on the flinstones when hey but them ribs on the side of the car. the weak link in my 720 was the clutch. To much wieght and you could smell it but it never burned up.

Well it was not as impressive as it looked. Only weighed out at 900 lbs. But it looked good roling down the road.

He has the rare 1/4 window stainless steel trim as well as side driprails and windshield trim. Oh yeah, stock hubcaps!!

I've had WAY more weight than that in my 620... 18 sheets of 5/8 drywall, and still had spring flex. 12 sheets had my Mom's Ranger on the rear bump stops, and I bought 30 sheets, so Datsun to the rescue to take more than half. Still less than 3/4 ton though.
