sidewayzvegan
Hi, I may be picking up a z20e and what I'm wondering is if the fuel injection bolts on to the z22 I have in my 620? I would love to have fuel injection, so I'm just wondering if this is a bolt on thing or if it's more work than its worth? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
The parts physically bolt up. But you still have wire up everything and install a higher pressure fuel pump. I believe Spiff is running a z22 with swapped on efi. He would be a good source of info. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Need the O2 sender exhaust manifold and the Z22E head has a water temp sensor (not sender like for the gauge) in it beside the #1 plug... this won't be on the Z22S engine. May have to swap the head also. The temp sender lets the ECU know at what stage the engine is during warm up to set the correct richness. Without it it will run like the choke is on. This guy is doing a Z22ET but the EFI conversion would apply.... http://720world.com/forum/topics/how-to-build-a-z22et Quote Link to comment
