Tension rod bushings worn out. Those are those long rods mounted to the very front of the frame and going back to the outer ends of the lower control arms. They support the LCA in place and prevent them being forced backwards if the wheel hits an obstruction. Also when the brakes are applied they transmit the stopping action to the frame. Without the tension rods the LCA would move back and forth with the wheel if you hit something or brake.

 

If they are bent or the bushing damaged, braking can force the wheel way out of alignment and cause the vehicle to veer when braking
