ed*hp
Contemplating whether or not its worth trying to find an early crossmember (68-9) or just using lower control arm spacers. Does it technically accomplish the same thing? Anyone see early crossmember for sale? If so, how much or how much would you pay? Quote Link to comment

Does it technically accomplish the same thing? Anyone see early crossmember for sale? If so, how much or how much would you pay? Not worth it. I think icehouse debunked that. I think there are some advantages.. but not worth specifically hunting for it. You'll likely want the LCA spacers anyway. Quote Link to comment
ed*hp
Thanks for confirming Draker. I will try to research Icehouse' theory....didn't see it when I searched, but kinda suspected that the current LCA spacers do a pretty good job of removing bump steer. Quote Link to comment

Icehouse
Yep least bump is wagon steering box and idler with the late crossmember. If you spent the time to get heim joint outer tie rods and correct the bump by shimming them a early crossmember would have a slightly better roll center. 1 Quote Link to comment
