I see when it does work that my temp gauge goes up to about 190 - 195F before the thermostat opens. The trouble is that on my trip to work it (the engine) rarely gets above 160 - 165F. Shouldn't hot (165F) water flow through the heater core even with the thermostat closed? Quote Link to comment
