datzenmike
The fitting will be on the underside of the intake manifold, below the carb. Quote Link to comment
IsaacHeink
I would greatly appreciate that, Fritzdixxon! I uploaded the images. I'm sorry if they're hard to read/blurry, I did the best I could given where the piece is. 1 Quote Link to comment
fritzdixxon
That looks pretty good, check out the A10's unite thread it is under the other datsun and nissaans section. 1 Quote Link to comment
IsaacHeink
Thanks! She's not in the best shape, but I think I can get her up to scruff with a little bit of TLC. I like that thread, by the way! *I think* I finally learned how to assign letters before the makes of specific vehicles. Haha Quote Link to comment
IsaacHeink
I have a question: Do you guys think I could temporarily go without replacing the connector? Would it be doing a big disservice to my car to put a new hose on and drive it with the old, rusty connector on it until I can find a new one? I have a hose I know will work, and I'm running low on patience. Ha! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Absolutely as long as the old one isn't going to fail and strand you. Quote Link to comment
IsaacHeink
Thanks, Mike! I'm gonna bend it back in place the best I can, then put the new hose on. I'll keep you posted on how she runs. Ha! Quote Link to comment

IsaacHeink
Thanks for looking for me, Fritz! I got the new hose on, so I'm gonna put some coolant in her and change her oil this weekend. Quote Link to comment
IsaacHeink
Hey guys, I have a quick question. I'm attempting to change the coolant in my car, but I'm caught. In the Service Manual it says to "remove cylinder block drain plug located at left rear of cylinder block." I know this instruction sounds as straight forward as they come, but I can't seem to find the drain plug. Can anyone tell me where it is? Quote Link to comment
wilfredmatias
Hello, I found this thread, I am looking for that hose that goes to the heater system u der the carbulator Mine a 1980 Datsun 510. Any ideas where to find it? Thanks I am using the same Link as the original owner. I couldn't upload mine. https://imgur.com/picture-number-1-0uMUbox Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think that's the heater return hose. It connects to a T fitting under the intake? right? Measure the hose inner diameter. You should be able to buy the correct hose by the foot and a couple of hose clamps at any auto supply store. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Yes, looks like standard heater hose, though it don't look original. Take it with you to the auto parts store so they can match it up Picture number 1 - Imgur This is the torn heater hose. 1 Quote Link to comment
wilfredmatias
Hello Datzenmike, yes you are correct. I took it to AutoZone and Napa, and they couldn't help me. Where I work is an auto shop for students, and they have an engine similar to mine (a Nissan Z) with 8 plugs. The Ignition distributor number is D4N84-01 A 5703, below that number it says 22100 80w02. It seems to be from a pick-up. Pathfinder? I'm not sure, but it has the same hose. I tried to find something on eBay and I found this. It looks like the same one... https://www.ebay.com/itm/156856249612?fits=Make%3ANissan&_skw=nissan+z24++heather+hose&epid=1624415329&itmmeta=01JXD7HFR4TJJ4H7HWP0BDV3VA&hash=item24855c6d0c:g:GbsAAeSwegVn8B2W&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA8FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1cuJWmoMcC4oqxtV8McbeY5yiO%2BmtRGj4MDeY0%2BUKNHJ2KYseWhTakVebNGkZzI8Hj6KcsZTqho0C%2Fi24LOAaAVzHWBr9SCuw%2Bxs6YvdBELWCnLceEm5RE31L8ac39URL%2BGK0%2BQfXIHFJ7DtyfwKh%2BWSWldjGi97ovlpAygo2r3d8IZCs5bJghmhvSEIeCQ4fCyaV6XjICqxPZ9VznJMjocEORr8R6bT4obGVggIFTpIjN1gLixYMd6E06n9rX%2FWWokh25b6pDzt16FW5dUHiL0fYDLoTHHMVH%2FxgwE4qFu3Q%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6D8xafrZQ What do you think, it looks like the same? ggzilla
The auto parts store often won't help if you ask for an exact replacement.
