Tips ATP shifter is bad ass!!

 

 

JRock your setup looks like it gets it done with the same tech intent. Move the pivot up along the lever creating a different fulcrum. I made one for my T-50 with a Spherical bearing moved up for the same affect.

Precisely, but with the way that the mechanism works it only shortens front to back throw as jocob mentioned.

Yeah you are very very limited on what you can do with that style of shift control.

 

You can make a pivot-lever system but it would have more parts involved.

And a lot more math to make it work right.

 

I couldn't find a picture of my setup but I had a custom made handle that is another 5" longer than the normal ATP shifter.

Yeah animation function in SolidWorks is very handy.  Makes guess work a shorter process ;)
