Suntzuzuki Posted February 5, 2015 Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 I got a rebuild kit for my carb from RockAuto, the stock Hitachi, the carb kit doesn't come with a float. Is there a good way to test the float, or should I just get a new one if I'm going through the trouble? 1 Quote Link to comment

mklotz70 Posted February 5, 2015 Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 If it's a plastic float....get a new one. If it's a brass one, you can submerge it in warm water......as the air inside warms and tries to expand, you'll see bubbles if there's a leak.
