datzenmike
Well I think it's a fine looking goon, and best of all, you got the better front and rear bumpers! Welcome to Ratsun Mr. Ford A few 180B owners near you. http://community.ratsun.net/user/38025-ddanderson/ http://community.ratsun.net/user/2991-ant-dat/ http://community.ratsun.net/user/5055-eric/ http://community.ratsun.net/user/6646-evan-180b-sss/ Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
I so wish we had got the 4cyl cars here... huh? Don't you mean the L18SSS? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
huh? Don't you mean the L18SSS? I don't care what motor is in it. I just want the shorter nose... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
We did get the shorter nose. It was called a 610. The European 810 was shorter and 4 cylinder. Our 810s were longer for the L24 in them. Quote Link to comment
RockFord_
Do you have a pic of that car? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
The European 810 was shorter and 4 cylinder. Our 810s were longer for the L24 in them. Yes. This is the problem. ^_^ Quote Link to comment
RockFord_
I forgot to tell you that i have got fender mirrors and Z flares for it also. And a stereo chip with an amplifier that i am going to replace the new stereo with it will be hidden behind the dash with just an AUX input somewhere on the dash. i am also going to fiberglass the hole for the cd player so the car looks like it's a 70's car. can't wait for summer :) Quote Link to comment
RockFord_
By the way, what is the best way to lower the rear of this car? Leaf springs are not my strong side Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
By the way, what is the best way to lower the rear of this car? Leaf springs are not my strong side These. Spacers go between the leaf springs and the axle to lower it, then swap in the longer u-bolts to replace the stock ones that are now too short. Quote Link to comment
RockFord_
Ok, thanks. This is the best way? there is no lowering leaf springs available? I don't think this is legal in Norway, the laws are strict here. The only law that is to my benefit is that i can do an engine swap to what ever i want as long as it is an 1.8, turbo or no turbo. this because the car is old and new laws do not apply :) Also if a part has TÜV papers you can argue with the dmv idiots until they accept the parts. I was just pointing out the "ultra low budget" option. ^_^ You can have custom leaf springs made, or even composite leaf springs made. Composite: Some places will even "flatten" your current springs to lower the car. Gonna take some research on your part to find a local shop that does that sort of thing, though...
