It almost feels slick to me, like it wants to slip in my hand in the turns. I'll either replace it or scuff it up with 80 grit for a nice "suede" finish. 1 Quote Link to comment

That is what I wound up doing to mine a couple of months ago mainly because the leather was scarred up. I scuffed it with 120, then dyed it black. I need to take a picture since I did that. It looks way better, feels better as well, plus slick and slippery feeling is gone. Grips better too. Quote Link to comment
