Carpet doesn't really matter in my opinion i have no carpet and it makes it easier to clean but it is a bit noisy when driving.

carpet is just another thing to get dirty/worn out. i wont be replacing mine. its dirty. but i really should get a carpet cleaner after it.... :rofl:

I cut down a black 720 carpet to size. It was from the wreckers and didn't cost anything. Results were good. The underlay/sound deadener was a bit thick under the pedals so had to remove it there or clutch wouldn't work, has a vinyl pad for high wear areas around pedals, nice an quiet.
