Sierra
So I drove my 78 B210 from San Diego to Los Angeles (aprox 280 miles) this past weekend. The B hold like a champion. At the end of my trip I parked the car in my driveway and the next day I notice a decent size oil spot on the floor. I lifted the car and notice that the oil was coming from the bellhousing area. I clean the entire area and turn the B on for about 20min in order to make sure I got the right spot. To my amazed no single drop of oil. What the hell happen here? Am I running the wrong grade oil for high tempertures? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Oil does not leak unless a seal is bad. Quote Link to comment
jboulukos
Since my B is in Chicago. I periodically start it in 20 degree to -10 degree (10 degrees below zero) weather and drive it in and out of my garage. (not on the street to avoid the salt) Should I go with the 10W-30 instead of the 15W-40 to make these cold weather starts? Quote Link to comment
