There's little to be gained from rear disc brakes. They look cool, lighter, simpler, easy to change pads and there's bragging rights for the conversion but in real life they don't stop any faster than a well set up drum brake. They can work at extreme temperatures better than drums but you won't reach this on the street.

Totally agree on the 280zx front struts though. The limiting factor then becomes the front tire traction to the pavement. The zx brakes won't stop you any faster than the stock brakes if the skinny tires lock up.

'79-'83  struts. '81 on for the rear disc... they look nicer.  Check that your stock rims will clear the front calipers, I doubt they will.  If you find a '79-'80 get the 15/16" master. If you don't use it other's might

So if I found a 81-83 can I use the b210 master?

Its there a build thread for this convertion? And for the rear disc?
