sebpv
So I broke the rear main bearing cap bolt when I tightened it down...The responsible are the side seals on the rear main cap. They bunched underneath as I tightened. Anyway, I cant find a reference for the size or a store to buy them. Can someone give me some hints? I appreciate the help. Quote Link to comment

dr.feltersnatch
go with arp. they are expensive but way stronger and they are way too important to just get one at the hardware store. and be sure to use a torque wrench. you dont want these to fail. http://www.northernautoparts.com/ProductDetail.cfm?ProductId=3543 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Take one of the other bolts with you to the store. Next time install side seal in cap first, then install. Be sure to use dabs of sealer in the corner joints and moisten seal with oil. 1 Quote Link to comment
