Royal Sierra
Any idea what it would cost to recover the factory seat? I'm not sure if I'll have it redone or mod the buckets to work and make or find a center console for it.. Quote Link to comment

wayno
In my opinion, bucket seats are for those of small stature, but in the end it's all about what you can get used to, and it is amazing what one can get used to. I would use the bench seat, if you cannot afford to have it professionally covered, then buy a seat cover and do the best you can, there are some decent covers out there, you just have to find one, I find them in the wrecking yards every once in a while. mrbigtanker
To cover that stock bench seat with a vinyl cloth combe should be about 300-400.00 depending if there are springs to be repaired and how much repadding needs to be done. I have buckets in my truck and i love them but like Wayno said they both do have there pros and cons. Those are mustang seats you got there and there not that bad and can easily be made to fit,but the bench just goes right in there. Royal Sierra
Yeah I got the mustang buckets for $20 and theyre a 9.9/10. Bench just seat sits a little high, I'm 6'4". Wayno sat in my green 521 with the scout buddy buckets that sat low. Those were perfect but I cant find any. I was guessing itd be 3-400 to recover. I'll just try to find some late 60s mustang seats Quote Link to comment
