Hi guys, Having a bit of an issue with the aftermarket tachometer in the 620. I've got it all wired up but when the pulse wire is connected to the negative side of the coil the engine won't fire or if connected when running dies. I've hooked up tachos this way to other vehicles and they've worked fine is something different about the wiring with the 620.

Thanks in advance

my guess from half way around the world would be that your somehow grounding the coil

Your guess was right....Stupid mistake the guage bracket was grounding the coil to acc as soon as I got the torch under the dash it was a facepalm moment. Works fine now

So glad you weren't right ggzilla! You gave me more credit than I was due :P

I didn't even try to think logically after the cig fuse took out my headlights. Thanks again
