windowless66
Hi guys, Having a bit of an issue with the aftermarket tachometer in the 620. I've got it all wired up but when the pulse wire is connected to the negative side of the coil the engine won't fire or if connected when running dies. I've hooked up tachos this way to other vehicles and they've worked fine is something different about the wiring with the 620. Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The tach is defective Quote Link to comment
bonvo
my guess from half way around the world would be that your somehow grounding the coil Quote Link to comment

Works fine now So glad you weren't right ggzilla! You gave me more credit than I was due :P I didn't even try to think logically after the cig fuse took out my headlights. Thanks again Quote Link to comment
Lee R
For years I had no clue what "torch" meant on the other side of the world....still cracks me up. 1 Quote Link to comment
