Retired-04
The heater hoses on my 1970 521 needed to be replaced. The lower one seemed to be the worse. I found an easy solution and posted some pictures on http://s552.photobucket.com/user/seashellsbyshore1/library/521%20Datsun%20Heater%20Hose To make the replacement Hoses I used a Gates 18457 heater hose, two 1/2" brass couplers, clamps, and a piece of 1/2" ID heater hose. To make the upper hose I cut two sections from the Gates 1847 and added a piece of 1/2" ID heater hose then coupled them together. The lower hose was easier just cut on section from the Gates 1847. No brass couplers required. The replacement hoses installed easily. I didn't take a picture after the install, just posted photo's of how the sections of the 18457 hose were cut out. 2 Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
Looks like the heater hoses that I built for my 411. In the "How to" section. Ingenuity has no bounds! Quote Link to comment
