ggzilla
Try using a Datsun 620 hub. Quote Link to comment
DatMo
Try using a Datsun 620 hub. I'm sure that would work but that's not my point here. I'm saying I read that an nrg 140h works and i purchased one. Is there something I'm doing incorrectly? I want this hub to work. It was my original plan. If it cannot work, then yes, i would try a 620 hub.... Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
What have you done? Why does it not fit? Where did you find out it would work? The research I had done does not list any of the early trucks as a possible fit with that hub. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
This thread says no NRG hub found to work... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/42376-quick-release/ Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Yet this thread says it's the same spline... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/46627-steering-wheel-hub-for-620/ You'll need to give more information if you're looking for help. Can't fix what you don't know is wrong. The ST 720 uses a Momo hub. Find one of those in a yard and get after it. 1 Quote Link to comment

Can't fix what you don't know is wrong. The ST 720 uses a Momo hub. Find one of those in a yard and get after it. I'm already returning the hub. It doesn't even get past the threads of the bolt to reach the spline when putting on the short hub. I'm looking into finding a boss hub or a momo. I'm pretty rushed to get one. My steering wheel is literally falling apart, It's broken and incredibly annoying to turn. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Find an ST 720. They came with a pretty cool steering wheel too. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
you have 2 conflicting suggestions there. A 240sx hub. And a S30 hub. They are different. To my knowledge nrg doesn't make a hub for the s30. Momo does. Quote Link to comment

I'm returning it to purchase a boss or momo hub. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Thats because the 140h is a S13/240sx hub. You will find Momo makes a S30 hub. It will fit on the splines, but I think you will have the same problem as I where the turn signal cancellors are in the wrong spots. I solved it by turning the hub til it was mostly correct, then I let my alignment guy take care of making the wheel straight. Quote Link to comment

That is an option but it's cheap for me to get a boss hub compared to a momo. Although from thailand and shipping takes forever.... I should have done more research on the item before I just read another member did so. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Good way to lose steering response. The steering gearbox is different at centered. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
And if you knew how little it truly is off...It still feels center in the box. Quote Link to comment
