windowless66
Installed a stereo in the 620 yesterday and while I was looking for something that ran on acc which turns out nothing does... I found a red wire with a yellow stripe that had an inline fuse and I figured it could be for the radio tested it and had constant power. It was sitting behind the speedo and there was a spare connector on the speedo in the same place so I figured It must have come off its pin but when I put it on it turned the ignition on so I took it off seemed like it didn't effect anything but now I have no headlights. What have I done? Headlamp fuse is ok but changed it to be sure and had a look for the relay but didn't know which one it was. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
I don't know about the Auzzy 620 but our 620s had an inline 15 amp fuse that fed the interior lamp, the cigar lighter and the clock option in the gauge cluster. The accessory wire is the Blue/White wire up through '74 and just a Blue wire from '75 on in the ignition switch plug. It only goes to the radio, nothing else. Quote Link to comment
windowless66
No worries changed the Radio/cig/room fuse and lights are back :) think my high beam indicator light has been blown in the process though....I'll check the blue/white later thanks again guys. You dont know what was with the red /yellow wire? Quote Link to comment
windowless66
So your fusebox is mounted upside-down like in that picture? Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Red/yellow is "always hot"; usually room lamp, could be clock. Quote Link to comment
