metalmonkey47 Posted February 14, 2014 Report Share Posted February 14, 2014 Not normal. That'll wipe out bearings QUICK so don't run it. Chances are the fuel pump diaphragm is leaking. On the mechanical pumps theres a weep hole on the bottom of the pump. Anything coming out of it? Quote Link to comment

smoke Posted February 15, 2014 Report Share Posted February 15, 2014 Carb flooding usually, if it's not drooling in from the pump. Like a bad needle and seat or sunk float, and so on, but normally that will make it run like crap too. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted February 15, 2014 Report Share Posted February 15, 2014 There are two times when there is lots of blow by. When the rings and or cylinder is/are worn out, and before the rings are first broken in. Blow by is going to contain unburnt gas in it. If the carb is not jetted properly and running rich or choke is on or carb flooding, this will also get into the oil. If no more gas is added the heat will slowly 'cook off' the gas in it.
