Blown-up Datsun in Museum

Recommended Posts

Was watching 'Mysteries at the Museum' and said to my wife "that's a Datsun 710".

The show explained that in 1976 a journalist in Phoenix was assassinated via dynamite bomb. What's left of the Datsun is in a museum on Washington D.C.

Bolles started the car, even moving a few feet, before a remote-controlled bomb consisting of six sticks of dynamite taped to the underside of the car beneath the driver's seat was detonated; the explosion shattered his lower body, opened the driver's door, and left him mortally wounded

"Don Bolles" is also known as the alias which one "Jimmy Giorsetti" used when he was drummer of the seminal L.A. punk band; " The Germs"
