Manifold torque specs

Hey i been doing some ratsun reading and also looking on the web for torque specs for l20b intake and exhaust manifold. I found that everyone is saying to torque 10-12 ft lbs . I just want to understand why it is so little .? I just got my u67 head back from the machine shop and i am putting everything back together. I would just like to know how so little torque will keep from exhaust and intake leaks? I am used to torque exhaust manifolds at least 15-20 ft lbs of torque on 240sx. I always thought that was light. But now i am wondering why datsuns have even lighter torque?

Any feedback ?

Some please share their knowledge !!

L has smaller studs/bolts?

The intake and exhaust share the same gasket?

Four of the bolts that hold the exhaust also hold the aluminum intake.

This might be three differences between the L and the S13 motor that account for this? I don't know.
