Tinman
Power steering pump.... pour half a bottle of Motor Purr Tune up in it and drive it. Pour the other half in a few days later. Motor Purr Tune Up is a red colored liquid, not sure what's in it, but it does wonders on rubber seals. My power steering leaked out while standing still. One bottle over a few days and it was perfect. Also works in the engine to seal rubber related leaks. I have used that stuff since the 80's with no ill effects at all. In fact, it has kept everything clean and leak free. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Once it stops leaking, probably best to empty out. Quote Link to comment
SoundByte
I'll give that Purr Tune a shot. In the meantime, I plugged my EGR holes! A few minutes with a forging hammer, and I had the pipes plugged up. EDIT: Gonna eventually cut them off shorter and spray them with hi-temp rustoleum black. I wanted to make sure this would work, and still have enough to clamp in the vice and cut off if it didn't. Quote Link to comment
