polmec
I have a 76 620 w/4.3 v6 I race. I am looking to lighten up the front end a bit and was wondering if there is somewhere that sells fiberglass fenders? Thanks Quote Link to comment
SandyMush620
Got any links to videos of the truck in action? You know, to help with the fender thing. :) Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
You can make the Toyota fenders work somewhat. Haven't seen any datsun fiberglass fenders new available in a looooong time. 1 Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
I think it was still running leafs and torsion bars Quote Link to comment
BlackBird620
Its got different upper and lower arms from what I can see in the pic but don't see any springs so probably still using the torsion bars up front Quote Link to comment
polmec
Here is a video of my daughter driving the truck sorry it didnt work look below Quote Link to comment
Dawa
in my humble opinion, the fenders are already fairly light and switching over to fiberglass isnt worth the effort. i am opposed to fiberglass anything on a vehicle, but regardless of that, i still dont think youd shed that many pounds, definitely not enough to make a difference. datsunaholic
I have a set of fiberglass 620 fenders. They aren't much lighter than stock, and about the same as those cheap, too-thin Chinese repop metal ones. Any lighter, they'd flap around, and they're fragile enough as it is. 1 Quote Link to comment

SandyMush620
That's pretty spunky for a 4.3. It must have headers. :D Quote Link to comment
Redbullet620
Nice what all you done to the motor to drop it in. Quote Link to comment
polmec
To put the motor in the truck I used the original trans x member as the starting point. I bolted the trans/engine to the x member, located the spot for the front mounts marked that. I then fab'd mounts for the front. Did a LOT of looking on e bay thats where I got the headers. You can now get all the parts to do the job for a v6 or a v8 even an LS motor from http://www.powerbyace.com/. Quote Link to comment
