iCruZ Posted June 30, 2013 Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 I'm working on a 1970 521 Pickup Truck, trying to restore this bad boy but problem is it needs a new paint job...wanted to go with the original pain color that it came out of the factory with.I'm hoping to find out the "code/'serial number" for the type of paint it is. Datsun OEM:546 1970 Grey-Green, Dupont 43441 This is the green in your signature picture. Datsun OEM:558 1970 Dragon Green, Dupont 31025 This is the Dragon Green. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411 Posted July 1, 2013 Report Share Posted July 1, 2013 Depending on the model year [and if it hasn't been peeled off] there is either on the firewall a complete metal plate with model, paint code, assembly point, transmission and engine data, or a small metal foil sticker with the paint type and color code on the front radiator support.
