Can you convert your question to Australian English please so this poor chap can understand :)

If you are referring to the front end of the car, and more specifically the engine bay and the area where the strut bolts to (inner fender ?) the four Doors were all the same with only subtle differences in what you call side marker lights?, badges and on the Deluxe, and GL models a chrome strip along the length of the guard (fender).

I'm 99.99999% sure the two doors are the same.

Yeah mate, I'm talking about the sheet metal that creates the inside of the engine bay, where the struts bolt up.  I'm looking to replace some damaged sheet metal from the battery tray to where the core support attaches. The car was in an accident that crunched the outside fender, as well as the inside of the engine bay.

It should be the same. As to some fenders not bolting up very well. First of all there are lots of re manufactured fenders out there from Taiwan. Perhaps different thickness of metal used and it doesn't form properly? Then there's 40 years of being bumped by previous owners. I would not doubt that some are hard to fit.
