datzenmike
An '80. IF it's the head gasket... Fix it. Quote Link to comment
wayno
Welcome to Ratsun B) 1980 is a good year, and it's easier to do a headgasket on the 80, if it is indeed a headgasket. Good first post! Quote Link to comment
CmkBaker
Thanks fellers. I suspect head gasket because... When I start her she smokes quite abit. Smoke is white and lingers a little, but goes away once it fully warmed up. The smoke does have a sent but doesn't really smell like koolant, but my coolant reservoir keeps on depleting (very) slowly. there is also water that drips for the tailpipe but this seems to go away once full warm. I should be pulling the plugs soon to see if that provides any more evidence. My mechanic capabilities are on a low side, I'm willing to learn but am hesitant about opening a can of worms. I'll probably mechanics 2nd opinion. Quote Link to comment
