VintageRice
So Joby built a Hornet car. It's called the Toyota Turd-cell. He took it out to Evergreen Speedway for the 4 hour endurance races and let me drive........Then let Andrew drive and he broke it......good times...... VIDEO ! Quote Link to comment

graveltrapp
Looks like tons of fun, safe and cheap. How much is the track time cost$? Do the cars have to be beaters or could we use our babies? What are the contact rules? Let us know the next time you guys are going out there. Quote Link to comment
VintageRice
All info is on evergreenspeedway.com Hornet Rules apply Car must be 4cyl, stock and cheap. they regulate cheapness by claiming the winners car. This ensures the richies don't dump a bunch of money into their car to win all the time. Keeps the playing field pretty even. To enter a car is $30, be a driver $30, pit pass $30. You can buy any one of those it only costs $30 lol Cars are supposed to be stock down to the exhaust but most guys dont follow it strictly..........tech is pretty lax. it's a hoot. 4 hour endurance race, rent a transponder for $10-20(cant remember) and the guy with the most laps at the end of 4 hours wins. First place is $1000bux and down. It's about the cheapest fun you can have legally. Next race is thurs night may 9. Quote Link to comment
