whats this part??

So I don't have a pic to post yet. But its the rod that runs from the lower control arm through the sway bar and connects to the a arm. I need to replace mine I bent it on a curb during a snowstorm.

i think its called a stabalizer rod, i took a pair off a 620 - on the trucks it goes from the frame under the rad to the suspension arms

From the description I and location of things you can bend on a curb I think you are talking about a tension control rod or t/c rod. Is it the piece in this picture that is bolted to the control arm and extends forward? If so you can get another OEM or get one of the many aftermarket adjustable upgrades made by Troy Ermish, T3, Futofab, and Im sure there are more.

now don't laugh at my stupidity well okay maybe you can just a little.  We had a bunch of snow and I seemed to have overlooked whats in the photo below.  I believe this is the culprit.

That would be your tension control rod. You can pick up stock ones or go with aftermarket adjustable ones. Youll also need to weld that sheet metal piece back up.

the funny thing is that wasn't the part i though was bent and it's not bent.  everythig is fine except for the sheet metal.  Well i guess i'll weld it this weekend.

^^^ Lol dude that sucks!!  After you weld it back in, throw in some extra tacks & beads.  Could have bent more than it did, worse could have been catastrophic.

Looking again at the pictures, are those bushings new rubber or black poly? If poly, I would recommend changing them unless you want to strengthen that metal piece while youre welding it up.

I don't know what kind of bushings they are.  I haven't really had time to sit down and figure out whats all been done to the car before i got it i'm pretty sure they are rubber.  I need more free time.
