That's some home made crap added to the illumination control plug?

Can you dim your dash lights or do they even work???

The brown wire is likely from the cigar lighter.... does it work???

Yea the illumination switch works and the cigar lighter works. Here is a better pic of the junk i circled it all in paint.

Yeah I sure know about those blue and white plugs on the left. lol.  Well the illumination control is the only 3 wire plug nearby and has Black, Red/Yellow and Red/Blue wires.

So the dash lights actually dim when you twist the dimmer???

That plug part of the harness or has it been spliced in???

Yea they dim kinda they flicker a little but i think that's cause the switch is bad. That plug is part of the harness it doesn't appear to be spliced in. The solid yellow wire is nothing to worry about its a hardwire that the PO had running off of the fuse box to run to the stereo its gone now. There doesn't seem to be any radio wires or harness by the way the PO did it but idk if he just rushed it to get it to work or what.
