Has anyone used ground control suspension?

I am considering Coilovers from Ground Control susp for my Datsun has anyone used them on a 510? What type of modifications were needed? I have stock components. thanks for the help

I have used their coilover set up on my 280ZX struts. They sell a kit that is set for that kind of set up. I believe they also have it for use on stock struts.

 

 

The kits come with instructions and all the pieces needed to set it up based on which strut you are using.

i've used their stuff before. kinda pricey though. i'd get the generic stuff from ebay next time

I think its all overrated for a street car myself.

I love my S/T springs and Konis. But I dont think S/T makes the springs anymore

 

Just has more height/spring adjustability and brake fitting and wheel options

Only reason I went to coilovers was I couldn't really find any lowering springs for the front of a 510. I tried using the cut springs I already had before my 280ZX swap and it was very rough. The coil overs smoothed it out. I'll likely never adjust my suspension but its nice to have there incase I ever want to.

I am wanting to lower the front end a bit and still have a good ride on the street but eventually I want it set it up for Autocross :)

but dont forget to get the t3 adjustable tension control rods so you dont have to worry about the stock ones braking when you slam it
