I admire autos as being the ultimate underdog so when somebody does something with one it should get noticed and kept. A lot of 4/5 speed stuff is common mainstream but exploring uses for autos is, well to me anyway at least, very interesting. Too bad a for sale ad led to this. Geez 33K was the last time I looked. darrel Posted May 8, 2013 Report Share Posted May 8, 2013 No, he wasn't trying to hide anything AFTER it was outed as a '79 instead of the pre '76. I don't think the original sale ad said anything about it used to be a '79, only that it was a '73(?) king cab. There were some questioning it and I may have linked this build thread which stated it was a '79. It would have been nice if someone could have saved the pics and hosted someplace.
