Please forgive me if this is the wrong place. Everything is in Socal in Garden Grove/Santa Ana. 1972 Datsun 510 4dr clean title, This was going to be a project car for a show. So when we went out looking for a great car and a body that we could work with this was what we wanted. Because the show went a different direction we have to put this project up for sell. I will part the car If there are enough people wanting all the parts but would like to sell everything as a package. The body of the car is currently on jack stands, we stripped the car to see if there was any bad sign of rust. There was only a mirror amount the pictures will show you all the details. I have all the parts to complete the cars beside a few minor things this like break line and fuel line. only part that is missing is the dash and the front and rear bumper. Below are some of the parts $1800 for the Engine, carb, and all the Transmission L20b with A87 heads, 3 transmissions, 5 speed dogleg( this was going to be use with the engine come with clutch and plates everything to get it install), stock 4 speed, and another 5speed. daul Mikuni 44mm carb with Mikuni short intake manifold custom 4-2-1 heads. dogleg $600 for the 280zx front struts, caliper with new rotors and bearing for the front hubs, New KYB Agx shocks. Extend front studs and Tein front Camber plates $100 for the stock shorten 510 strut. come with eveything just not in the pic. ( calipers, ect..) $80 front lip $20 280zx stock spring $2000 for the rest of the car and everythig Rebuild front control arm and crossmember, all polyurethane bushing upgrades Rear control was not rebuild because project stop, but it came out of a race car with build in bearing for the bushing. These are the Rust spots. There are 100s more parts that I am leaving. Everything is here to complete a car and get it going. I would like to sell everything for $4499 obo for everything. The rear seat was redone not to long ago but the the driver seat need to be done again and the pass seat is not to bad. I'll try to get more pics of those parts for you guys. over all its in pretty good shap no rust on the floor, a small bit in the wheel well and left quarter panel near the rear tail light nothing to bad tho. i'll get pics up tomorrow. Measure your 4 speed length. If it's 26" (66cm) long, then the dogleg will fit without shortening your driveshaft but you will need to modify the rear mount. If it's 31.5" (80cm) long then the 'other five speed' will fit right in with no other changes. The rear mount and driveshaft will fit and work. Link to comment

dnicle Posted December 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 10, 2012 all pm reply, sorry was busy working on another 510 this weekend and didn't get a change to put the car together. if someone want a good deal and just the shell only i'll let the empty shell go for $700 obo. this will same save me time on making it a rolling shell, of if you want $2700 obo and i'll make it a rolling shell with full interior and even throw in a carbon dash.
