shano1300
Hey, i have a 411 wagon, which came with a j13, but the flywheel is worn in 2 spots 180 degrees from each other. i am putting a J16 in it. anyone know if it takes the same flywheel? and if so, know where i can get one from?? or ring gear? thanks guys Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
They never sold J15, J16 or J18 in USA, so were not too familiar with it. Quote Link to comment

shano1300
im not too sure. does anyone know dimensions and teeth of an R16's flywheel? do they have replaceable ring gear too? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I dont recall ever seeing a flywheel where the ring gear wasn't replaceable. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Cheap easy trick is to mount the flywheel in a different position. The engine almost always stops in the same 2 places, so that's why the ring gear gets worn in the same 2 places. Reclocking the flywheel puts the worn spots in different places. 2 Quote Link to comment
